My Web Conference Experience

My first web conference was very menacing. Things were moving very fast and it was very difficult to keep up with the questions that the professor was trying to answer. There were around 100 students so I can see that this could get very difficult to handle. The experience overall was easy to sign on and relatively easy to maneuver, If I could change anything it would be the amount of students allowed on at one time. But over all I will look forward to the next opportunity to do it again.

Description to Action Research

It has become very clear that an Action Research is a focused strategy designed to assist an administrator with the everyday fast paced world of education. The educational system as we now it is changing very rapidly and in order to keep on top of the instructional strategies, we will have to continue to learn from every opportunity. An Action Research does actually that, it is born from the idea to want to know how to make something better. It will answer many questions and promote a "bye in" from all that are involved in the study. In many forms it is designed to promote questions about what we already know and to assist in the areas that we have not yet mastered. As an administrator it will be a very valuable tool that helps focus the teachers, staff and students in the areas such as instructional strategies. When a campus is determined to work together for the better of the students then we all prosper. An Action Research should always have the student in mind; it should never be used to make your job easier when the student suffers. When this inquiry is complete it should be both educational and beneficial to all who are involved.
